Talka Credit Union Limited is a credit union located in Ontario. It was founded in 1955. It primarily serves Greater Hamilton.
Talka Credit Union was incorporated on March 22, 1955, in Hamilton, Ontario. It was founded by Lithuanian community leaders who had settled in the city during and after the Second World War.
Originally serving Hamilton’s Lithuanian community, Talka became an open bond credit union in 2012, allowing membership to extend to people of all backgrounds in the greater Hamilton area.
Today, Talka operates from a single location on Main Street East in Hamilton. It offers personal and business banking, borrowing, mortgages, investments, and related financial services through a member owned cooperative structure.
